The Young Circle League of America will burn the effigy of Engelbert Dollfuss, Chancellor of Austria, following his “trial and sentence” on Sunday evening.
The Chancellor’s effigy will be carried in a parade to Town Hall where people prominent in the labor movement will address a large crowd.
Among the scheduled speakers are the former vice-Mayor of Vienna, Max Winter, Norman Thomas, Dr. Horace B. Kallen, B. C. Vladeck, former Judge Jacob Panken and Joseph Baskin, general secretary of the Workmen’s Circle.
Proceeds of the affair will be used to extend aid to Austrian victims.
