The Zionist Organization of Brazil is collecting one million signatures on a petition to be presented to the government in Brasilia calling on it to support repeal of the 1975 United Nations General Assembly resolution equating Zionism with racism. The first to sign the petition was Roberto Marinho, publisher of O Globo, the country’s largest circulation daily newspaper and head of the O Globo Television and Radio Network.
