Theatre Party Benefit Will Aid Madison House

Mrs. Benjamin J. Buttenweiser, the former Helen Lehman, a niece of Governor Lehman, is in charge of the committee of arrangements for a benefit party to be given at the Martin Beck Theater on April 3. The name of the play is “Yellow Jack.” The benefit is a feature of a city-wide drive for funds by Madison House, one of the city’s oldest settlements founded thirty-five years ago at 226 Madison street.

Assisting Mrs. Buttenweiser in arranging the benefit are Mrs. A. F. Wechsler, Mrs. G. A. Lowenstein, Mrs. Max Schmer, Mrs. Herbert Herschfeld, Mrs. John Garlock, Mrs. Edgar Simon, Mrs. Joseph Sterling, Mrs. H. B. Schoenberg, Mrs. Harry Wechsler, and Mrs. Leonard Green.
