The Theatre Union will bring a new play into the Civic Repertory Theatre on December 10, and on the same evening will present “Stevedore,” now running on Fourteenth street, at the Garrick Theatre in Philadelphia.
The new play is “Sailors of Cattero,” by Friedrich Wolf, translated by Keene Wallis. It has an all-male cast. Irving Gordon of the Theatre Union will direct. He was assistant director of “Stevedore” and stage manager for both Theatre Union plays last season.
