Theodor Wolff, editor-in-chief of the Berliner Tageblatt, the leading Democratic paper of Germany, will be the first Jew to be expelled from Germany as soon as the Hitlerites gets control, says today’s Voelkische Beobachter, the organ of the Hitlerites. The paper says, “This Galician Jew must be the first one expelled.” This is in accordance with the Hitlerite program to eliminate all Jews from the German press.
Theodore Wolff, a member of the editorial staff of the Berliner Tageblatt since 1887, and its editor-in-chief since 1906, is not a Galician Jew, having been born in Berlin in 1868. He is one of the outstanding journalists of Europe.
