There is no Hitlerism in America today, asserted Rabbi Marius Ranson of East Orange, N. J., in a sermon at Mt. Neboh Temple, 130 West 79th street. “I deprecate the phrase ‘Hitlerism in America,’ which I have heard some Jews, as well as Christian friends of the Jews, use,” Rabbi Ranson declared. “Hitlerism is the doctrine of racial inferiority as preached by the unscholarly students of Germany. Hitlerism is the doctrine of racial persecution as preached by the perverted leaders of Germany. Hitlerism is the result of over fifty years of political campaigning against the Jews. Such Hitlerism is unknown in America.”
