“There will not be a new Munich. In no circumstances will Israel give in as Czechoslovakia did in 1938,” Ambassador Yaacov Tsur declared here addressing a meeting for “Solidarity With Israel” under the sponsorship of the French Zionist Federation.
The jammed meeting heard Ambassador Tsur assert that Israel faced one of its greatest tests since the establishment of the State. He said that he had more confidence than ever in Israeli strength. All the world’s powers–large and small, friend or enemy–know that nothing can be accomplished in the Middle East without Israel’s consent, the Israeli envoy added.
