The Jewish population of Warsaw will shortly have the pleasure of making the acquaintance of a band of thieves who indulge in humor, music and dancing.

The “thieves” are now on their way to this city, where they will stop at a local theatre. Their vehicle is a play called “Thieves” which has been written by Joseph Tunkel, the well-known humorist who writes in Yiddish under the pen-name of “Der Tunkeler.”

The play will be produced by the Wilno Art Troupe under the direction of H. Mazeh. It is in three acts and is the first full length comedy Tunkel has written.
