The all-Jewish city of Tel Aviv has paid to the Palestine Government some $100,000 in income tax since September last when this tax was introduced in the country for the first time, official figures revealed today.
The data, issued by the Palestine Government for publication, discloses that a total of 77,000 has been paid in income tax since September from all parts of Palestine. Of this sum, 25,000 were paid by inhabitants of Tel Aviv.
