Third Turkish Party Names Jew As Candidate for Parliament

A third major party in Turkey has nominated a Jew as a candidate in the Parliamentary elections of May 2, it was announced today.

The Republican Nationalist Party has named Djemil Beraha, a financial expert who has served in several government departments. Previously, the Democratic and Republican Parties had each named one Jew.
