This year’s Jewish film festival in Brazil will feature 42 films.
The 11th annual festival Aug. 7-23 includes films and documentaries from Israel or with Jewish themes. The movies are being shown in Jewish and non-Jewish institutions in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Porto Alegre — the homes of Brazil’s three largest Jewish communities.
“Once again we’ll be able to watch the dynamic contemporary Jewish life in Israel and in the Diaspora,” organizers said in a statement.
