Though the Akron Jewish Center lost to Youngstown in the tournament a year ago, the “rubber city” passers came through to annex the State Jewish title by defeating the Canton Metro Club, 51-40, here yesterday.
Podlish, Leeper and Singer starred for the winners while Klausener was the feature performer for the losers.
