Thousands of Germans held protests against intolerance and extremism. The protests came after the government released statistics showing that far-right crime in Germany has reached the highest level since World War II. The leader of Germany’s Jewish community and Germany’s interior minister said the numbers show that the threat of the far right in Germany is not exaggerated.
