Hundreds of Jews from Poland are continuing to pour into Frankfurt by the routs which takes them directly into Germany from the sections of Poland which formerly were part of the Reich. Most of them come from Silesia, where thousands of recent repatriates from Russia are concentrated.
According to unofficial figures about 3,000 have arrived here in the past three weeks and the arrivals report that tens of thousands of others only await a favorable opportunity before starting the trek to the U.S. zone. The refugees say that the former German port of Stettin, which now has a Jewish population of 25,000, will be stripped of Jews in a few months if no obstacles are placed in the way of emigration by either the Polish or the American authorities.
