Thousands of persons, including uniformed men and women representing all the armed services, yesterday marched in the funeral cortege of Eliahu Golomb, Histadruth leader who died on Monday.
The procession, which took more than an hour to pass, was headed by leaders of the Jewish Agency and the Jewish National Council and delegations from settlements throughout the country. Scores of wreaths were placed at the grave. An honor guard kept an all-night vigil Monday night in the meeting hall of the Histadruth central committee where the body rested before the funeral.
