The situation of the Jews in Adrianople, Turkish Thrace, has become desperate, reports reaching here today revealed. A wide-spread anti-Jewish boycott is still being carried on and all Jews employed by Turkish firms have been dismissed.

Turkish schools in Adrianople were today ordered not to accept Jewish children.

Hundreds of Jewish families, finding their position intolerable, are migrating to Istanbul, where the refugees driven out of Turkish Thrace flocked.

Bands of Turks invaded the Jewish district and a reign of terror took place. Many Jewish families succeeded in escaping to Istanbul, but others were forced to hide in the city.
