Nationalist students today threatened to continue anti-Jewish excesses unless the University of Warsaw decides to compel Jewish students to occupy “ghetto” benches in classrooms.
The threat was contained in a memorandum to the university’s rector, declaring the excesses would be continued until the school was forced to close. The university recently reopened after an extended shutdown as a result of previous disorders arising from efforts to force segregation of Jewish students.
Violence meanwhile continued in the local schools and in Lwow, with both Jewish and Polish liberal students being daily attacked and beaten by Nationalist students and forcibly removed from their regular seats.
