James N. Rosenberg, chairman of the New York Committee which will shortly have a drive to raise $2,500,000 from the Jews of the metropolis for the $6,000,000 which is being raised nationally by the Allied Jewish Campaign for the 1930 budget of the Joint Distribution Committee and the Jewish Agency for Palestine, announced yesterday that James Marshall, Honorable Nathan Straus, Jr., and Paul Felix Warburg have accepted the posts of chairmen for Manhattan. Abraham Liebowitz, former treasurer of the United Palestine Appeal, has accepted the post of associate-treasurer of the New York Allied Jewish Campaign.
Carl Pforzheimer is treasurer. Mr. Rosenberg also announced that Isidor D. Morrison has been chosen chairman of the Advisory Board of the New York Allied Jewish Campaign.
