Three large Cleveland Orthodox congregations have voted to merge into a united congregation which will be one of the largest in the Midwest. The new congregation, to be known as the Warrensville Center Synagogue, will occupy a newly-erected edifice on a three-acre tract and two branch synagogues.
The three congregations are the Tetiever Ahavas Achem Anshe Sfard, Bnai Jacob Kol Israel (Kinsman Jewish Center and N’vai Zedek. More than 1, 000 families are affiliated with the merged congregation which will reach Jewish families in the rapidly growing suburbs of Cleveland as well as within the city.
