The three men who have had the greatest influence upon modern thought are all Jews, said the Rev. Joseph Conway, chaplain of the Knights of Columbus, addressing a meeting of that organization here. He named the trio as Karl Marx, Professor Albert Einstein and Dr. Sigmund Freud.
Seeking to explain the fact, the speaker declared:
“The Jew has a background of religion, and in that background there is the worship of God and there is the value of the immortal soul. And the Jew can never get away from that influence. It saves him and keeps him sane, no matter how far he goes away from that doctrine.”
