Three Jews Named Among Ten Pittsburgh Outstanding Citizens

Two Jews and one Jewess were among the ten local persons selected as “the leading citizens of Pittsburgh in a country-wide poll conducted by the Pittsburgh Advertising Club and the “Pittsburgh Press.” The results were announced last night.

Those chosen were Dr. Samuel Goldenson, spiritual leader of Temple Rodef Sholom, lecturer, and good-will leader, Mrs. Enoch Rauh, serving her third term as director of the department of public welfare, and Edgar J. Kaufmann, president of the Kaufmann department store, art patron and leader in Y. M. H. A. work.
