Three Jews on Committee to Preserve Italian Art

Three Jews were appointed members of a Committee for the preservation of antiquities and art in Italy in accordance with a decree issued by King Victor Emmanuel.

The Commission will play a signifi##nt role in view of the many historic ###onuments and art treasures to be found in the country.

The Jewish members include Professor Supino, of the University of Bologna, who is an authority on mediaeval history; the prominent playwright, Sabatino Lopez; and the modern art authority, Vittorio Morpurgo.
