News reaching here from Argentina reported that the Buenos Aires daily “La Opinion” said that unknown individuals forcibly entered the home of journalist Enrique Raab some time last week. Because Raab had received a threat against his life in late November, neither he nor his family were living in the apartment at the time.
The threat, sent anonymously to Raab and two other journalists who write for “La Opinion,” Ernesto Ekaizer and Heriberto Kahn, said “Jew-Russian-Communist. You are dead. AAA. Isabel or death” AAA is the notorious right-wing death squad responsible for hundreds of executions in Argentina during the past year.
In speaking to the press, Raab noted that the attack on his apartment came after he published an interview with the federal judge who is investigating administrative irregularities pertaining to the President’s handling of financial matters.
