Three members of an illegal neo-Nazi party registered to run in Lithuania’s Oct. 8 general elections, according to the Union of Councils for Soviet Jews. The head of Lithuania’s Central Electoral Commission said the commission did not have the right or the power to bar the members of the National Social Union from running in races where their party affiliation did not play a role in their registration.
