The Jewish Community Council of Peoria, Ill., the Jewish Federation of Fort Worth, Texas, and the Kingston, N. Y., Jewish Community Council have affiliated with the National Community Relations Advisory Council, it was announced today by David L. Ullman, NCRAC chairman. This brings the number of local agencies affiliated with the NCRAC to 42.
Welcoming the three new community members, Mr. Ullman observed that they had become participants in a cooperative process, in which most of the major organized Jewish communities of the United States were a part, ad which is dedicated to the advancement of the common cause of better Jewish community relations. The NCRAC is the joint policy-forming, planning and coordinating body of the American Jewish Congress, Jewish Labor Committee, Jewish War Veterans, Union of American Hebrew Congregations, Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America and United Synagogue of America, in addition to the 42 local constituents.
