Three violently anti-Jewish attacks were published in one week in Moroccan newspapers representing virtually every shade of political opinion in this Moslem country.
The attacks, all published during this week, appeared in An Nidal, the centrist-liberal daily, Al Watan, a government organ published by the Social Democrats, and Al Ahdaf, published by the Front of Popular Forces, representing the so-called left in Moroccan politice.
The attack in Al Ahdaf was not the first time the leftist paper attacked Jews. Two years ago Al Ahdaf protested against the nomination of a Tangier governor who was “accused” of having strong sympathy for Morocco’s Jews.
