Three new Egyptian attacks on Israel patrols within the past 24 hours were reported here today by an Israel military spokesman. There were no Israel casualties in any of the incidents.
Yesterday afternoon Egyptian positions near the border fired on an Israel patrol near Nachal Oz. Later Egyptians dropped mortar shells in the area of the border settlement of Kissufim. At about the same time, in a nearby area, Egyptian units moved into Israel territory to attack an Israel patrol. The patrol returned the Egyptian fire and the Arabs withdrew.
