Three New York Jewish firefighters are traveling around the country for Chanukah appearances. Representatives from the Ner Tamid Society of Jewish firefighters are lighting Chanukah candles in Concord, N.H., Newport Beach, Calif., and Knoxville, Tenn., this week in commemoration of the firefighters and others killed in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, according to Religion News Service.
