Three of the 13 Iranian Jews accused of spying for Israel and the United States may have their cases dropped as early as Sunday, according to Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. The trial opened Thursday as scheduled, but the judge soon agreed to adjourn the trial until May 1, after Passover. Later, the three prisoners who have been freed on bail were summoned back to court Sunday, which indicates their case may close, Hoenlein said.
