Three Israel oil firms were reported today to be negotiating an agreement for joint drilling for oil along a line between Ruhama and Sde Boker in the Negev.
The line is considered a single geologic chain, the head of which is believed to be Rosh Zohar, the rich oil and gas well, near the Dead Sea. The companies are the National Oil Company, the Naptha Company and the Israel Negev Company.
