Three members of the Brith Kanaim, extreme Orthodox group, were sentenced today to different terms of imprisoment on charge that they attempted to plant a bomb in the building of the Israel Parliament and set on fire a number of automobiles, the owners of which they suspected of desecrating the Sabbath.
One of the three, Yehuda Rider, was sentenced to one year’s imprisonment. The other two–Eliahu Rapul and Noah Wormesser–were sentenced to ten and seven months respectively. The time they already served in jail will be deducted from their terms.
