Volunteer workers of Thrift House will become active participants in the campaign of the Women’s Division of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies, it was announced at a rally yesterday afternoon.
The rally, attended by more than 100, was held at Thrift House, 9 West Fifty-seventh street.
Mrs. Julius Ochs Adler, chairman of Thrift House, stated that the volunteers of Thrift House would be organized into five teams under the “red” division.
This marks the first time that Thrift House workers have taken an active part in the Federation campaigns.
