The Schiphol Airport Aviation Service, the agency responsible for security at one of Europe’s largest airfields, stepped up measures for El Al planes here following the attack in Zurich. As a general rule, El Al planes touch down on Schiphol Airport five times a week. The New York-Lydda airliners usually put down here for about an hour before proceeding to the United States or returning to Lydda, but the El Al plane which arrives here on Friday afternoon stays over until after sundown on Saturday. Special guards generally stand guard over it. There have been no incidents here.
