To Build 20 New Police Stations at Palestine Frontiers

Twenty new police stations will soon be established along Palestine’s frontiers, particularly in the north, it was announced today by Roy G.B. Spicer, Inspector General of Police and Prisons.

Many acres of barley fields belonging to a Jewish colony in the Beisan area were destroyed last night by a fire believed to have been set by Arab marauders. The fire was put out by Jewish settlers. The authorities are investigating.

Police announced discovery of six sacks of explosives in the Arab village of Lifta, near Jerusalem. Six Arabs were arrested on suspicion of ownership.
