“German Jewish immigrants are adapting themselves very easily to the new environment in Palestine,” Dr. Landauer declared. “The distribution of German immigrants in Palestine as between the land and the town is more favorable than with any other group of immigrants. Of the twenty thousand who came into Palestine during the past year, eight thousand have settled in villages and colonies.”
Dr. Landauer expressed the hope that the Palestine government will, in the Spring, make available for the third time a considerable number of certificates for German Jewish youths.
