A monument in memory of 24,600 Belgian Jewish deportees who died in Nazi concentration camps during World War II will be erected here beginning on April 15. The national memorial, to cost $100,000, will be paid for by subscriptions from Belgium’s Jewish community. The sum of $40,000 has been raised to date.
