A special Federation Sabbath, on which rabbis throughout the city will speak from their pulpits on behalf of the 1933 appeal of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies, was decided upon yesterday at a meeting of a group of prominent rabbis who met at the Federation Building. Rabbi Louis I. Newman, chairman of the rabbi’s committee of the Federation drive, presided at the meeting. The date for the Sabbath appeal will be set later.
