To help recent immigrant students facilitate their adjustment to Israel’s social and academic world, Bar-Ilan University ran an ulpan for 40 Russian students. The five-month ulpan, which included studies in Hebrew, English and the history and principles of Judaism, was established by the university in cooperation with the Student Authority of the Ministry of Absorption.
