A testimonial dinner marking the twenty-fifth anniversary of the literary activities of Daniel Persky, widely known Hebrew writer, will be held on Sunday at the Broadway Central Hotel, under the auspices of the National Hebrew Organization Histadruth Ivrith of America.
Many organizations, including the Union of Hebrew Teachers, Hebrew High School, Herzliah and Achiever Camp, will be represented at the dinner, at which Abraham Goldberg will be the toastmaster.
Mr. Persky has acquired a world wide reputation for his feuilletons in the Hebrew press. He was one of the founders of modern Hebrew literature in this country, having won a large following, especially in the younger school of Hebrew writing.
