The Federation of Jewish Soldires in France has decided to issue a Golden Book containing the names of all Jewish soldiers who died fighting for France during the Great War, similar to that compiled by the Federation of Jewish Soldiers in Germany. An appeal has been issued by the Federation which says:
“The French army fortunately knows of no religious distinctions. We therefore ask the relatives of Jewish soldiers who fell fighting in the French Army to supply the Federation with the necessary dates and documents.”
