The Jewish Consumptives’ Relief Society of Denver, Colorado, will open a depart-for the tubercular, will open a department for the treatment of children stricken with pulmonary tuberculosis, according to an announcement by Dr. Philip Hillkowitz, the president of the institution. No place is anywhere available, it is stated, for this type cases.
This announcement coincides with the preparations for the forthcoming 25th annual national convention of the Jewish Consumptives’ Relief Society of Denver, Colorado, which will be held at Denver, beginning August 18. The opening of the new children’s department will be celebrated at the convention, together with the formal dedication of the new Texas Building, and the acquisition of the site for the proposed Eastern Branch at Highland Mills, New York.
