The Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center is establishing a special unit in pediatric ophthalmology, a relatively new medical specialty, to deal with children’s eye diseases, Mrs. Max Schenk, national president of Hadassah, disclosed today. The unit expects to work with the medical center’s pediatricians in early detection of those eye problems that could lead to impaired vision or blindness.
