Elias Grossman, American Jewish artist, has been commissioned by Premier Mussolini to paint his portrait.
Mr. Grossman was introduced to the Premier by the American Ambassador, Henry P. Fletcher. He will also paint the portrait of King Victor Emanuel.
Mayor Walker, Bishop Manning and Justice Crain are scheduled to speak at the formal dedication of the new edifice of the Park Avenue Synagogue, 50 East Eeighty-seventh Street, New York, next Sunday afternoon. Rabbi Gabriel Shulman is rabbi of the congregation. The Chairman of the Building Committee is Arthur Ochs. The temple will be used for the first time for religious services Friday evening.
