The dramatic story of Brandeis’ entrance into the Zionist movement the “break” with Dr. Wehmann in London in 1921 and the consequent “split” in American Zionism in 1921, are described.
A facsimile of Lord Reading’s Zionist plan with Mr. Srandeis’ annotations on this historic document, now first reproduced, will be included. The “life” is preceded by a chapter on the passing of Jewish leadership from Europe to America, and it is followed by a complete set of Mr. Brandefs’ Jewish and Zionist addresses ### from 1912 to 1924, which have been revised for this volume by Justice Brandeis Several portraits taken at different periods of his life will be included.
