(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

–The question of the Wailing Wall will be raised at the opening session of the House of Commons by Lieutenant Commander Kenworthy, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learns.

Commander Kenworthy will ask if the State Secretary for the Colonies is aware that the Jerusalem Moslems are crecting masonry constructions on top of the Wailing Wall and whether he can explain why this is permitted by the Palestine government, especially when it removed the temporary screens the Jews had placed, as infringing on the status quo of the Wall. The Colonial Secretary will also be asked whether he has instructed that the status quo of the Wall be preserved, forbidding new construction over the ancient Wall.
