A transport of tractors, machines, motors and tools worth $55,000 was sent today via the steamer “Eastern Belle” to the Jewish colonists in Bira Bidjan. The shipment was made by the Icor, American organization for aiding Jewish colonists in Russia.
Another shipment will be made within a month, the Icor announced. The “Eastern Belle” is bound for Vladivostok, where the tractors and machines will be forwarded to Bira Bidjan in Siberia.
