Top government officials and members of the diplomatic corps here last night attended a reception at the Israel legation given by Yaacov Tsur, Israel Ambassador to Argentina, on the occasion of the third anniversary of Israel’s independence. President and Mrs. Peron sent orchids. Last night also marked the opening of the United Jewish campaign which was launched with a convention attended by some 450 delegates from all over the country.
