The Torah Umesorah, the national society for Hebrew day schools, predicted today that more than 70,000 pupils will be enrolled in the 387 all-day Hebrew schools in the United States and Canada when they open their doors for the fall term. According to a report issued by Samuel C. Feuerstein, president, and Dr. Joseph Kaminetsky, national director of the society, at least 10 of the schools are new ones. Of the 10, the report said, seven are on the high school level and four are for girls exclusively.
