A town planner who had been employed on a Housing Ministry project in a Jerusalem suburb disclosed today that he resigned two months ago because of professional objections to the plan the Ministry insisted on following. According to Pierre Bugod, the Ministry demanded high rise apartment dwellings suitable for the flat Tel Aviv area but not for the hilly sites around Jerusalem. Bugod’s criticism was the latest in a controversy that has developed around the Housing Ministry’s plan to build a new suburb at Nebi Samwill in northwest Jerusalem.
