Trade between Austria and Israel will increase soon, it was announced today. The increase is the result of talks here between Austrian Commerce Minister Otto Miltterer and Israel’s Finance, Commerce and Industry Minister Zeev Sharef. Austria is interested in expanding exports to Israel. Trade between the two countries has been quiet since the Six-Day War. Mr. Sharef promised to promote more tourist traffic to Austria, among other things.
